The Health Visiting team are health care professionals that work with us as part of the Primary Health Care Team, running or helping with clinical sessions at the surgery.

We are qualified nurses, with special training and experience in child health and health promotion and education and we aim to promote the health of the whole community.

Child health surveillance examinations - We provide a full child health surveillance service. Routine examinations are done at eight weeks, eight months, two years and three and a half years.

Well Baby Clinic - drop in for advice and having baby weighed – Tuesdays 1.30 – 3.30pm

New Parent Group - by invitation – Wednesdays 2-3pm. A way to meet other new moms, share experiences and gain support. Information about weaning, childhood ailments, baby massage, sleep management techniques, infant resuscitation and other topics concerning new parents.

Breast feeding Support Group – Thursdays 1.30-3.30pm – to meet other breast feeding moms for support and encouragement, advice available from a health professional.
